Fountain from "The Sound of Music" movie

Graveyard that "The Sound of Music" graveyard set was based upon (since permission was not granted to film in the actual graveyard)

Another graveyard view

Nonnberg Abbey, where the real Maria Augusta von Trapp was a postulant, and also used for scenes in "The Sound of Music"

The Untersberg - In "The Sound of Music", the von Trapp family escapes over this mountain into Switzerland. In actuality, this would have taken them into Germany very near Hitler's Eagle's Nest retreat (see below). In reality, they escaped via train to Italy, one of many inaccuracies of the movie.

During the "Sound of Music" bike tour

One of two houses used in filming "The Sound of Music". This house was used for views away from the back of the house, including the scene where Maria and the children fall out of the boat into the water.

Home used for outside views in the movie, including when Maria first arrives from the Abbey.

Gazebo used for "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and "Something Good"

Mirabell Gardens, scene of the final moments of "Do Re Mi"

Mountain view near Eagle's Nest
