Trier, Germany

Founded by the Romans in 15 BC, Trier is the oldest town in Germany and some say the oldest north of the Alps. The Porta Nigra ("Black Gate") is the dominant landmark of the city, dating to the second century.

I LOVE Germany, in fact we were there a few weeks ago visiting my family (pictures on our blog http://popojonesandme.blogspot.com/). I don't doubt it will be an adjustment, but one plus is German food is way better than American :) XOXO
